Who can take Cambridge Assessment English Exams?
Navitas English Test Centre is an open centre which means that anyone may take our exams. However, we recommend that you undertake a Navitas English Cambridge preparation course at the relevant level as this will provide excellent preparation.
I am doing a Navitas English Cambridge Preparation course, how do I book and pay for my test?
Your teacher will give you all the information about registering for the test.
Yes, if you are registering for the test only, you will need to request a registration form from Cambridge@navitastesting.com, submit the form and pay the relevant fee.
We recommend you submit your form 5 to 6 weeks prior to your preferred test date. When you email our form request, we will provide you with a list of available test dates.
The 2025 fee for all Cambridge English exams at NETC is $440 (GST inclusive).
Can I re-sit one module/part of the Cambridge Assessment English test?
No, this is not possible, the whole test must be retaken.
Do you have special arrangements for test takers with disabilities?
Cambridge Assessment English supports candidates with disabilities by a wide range of Special Arrangements which can be applied for when booking. These vary according to circumstances but can include extra time, modified test papers, use of a computer.
What can I bring into the test room?

We start the first module Reading and Use of English at 9.00am, followed by the Writing test then the Listening test, which is finished by 1:40pm. The length of each module varies according to the level.
The Speaking test takes place sometime in the fortnight prior to the written tests.
What happens if I have to leave for an emergency?
Raise your hand and explain your situation to the Test Administrator. They will advise further.
Can I leave early if I finish the test?
Yes. You may leave at certain stages of the test, these times will be explained to you on the day.
How do I know how much time I have left?
There will be a large clock at the front of the room. Reminder warnings will be given during the test.
Can I take notes during the test?
You are not allowed to make notes until the test has started.
Yes, to get your results online, sign up for the free Cambridge online results service. NETC will give you the information you need to register for this service or you can register with Cambridge English Results Online. A hard copy certificate will also be sent by registered mail to your nominated postal address.

Results will be available approximately 1 month after the examination date.
What if I disagree with my Cambridge English results?
If you are dissatisfied with your results, you may request a rescore. This is a two part process, a clerical check followed by a full re-mark. Please contact Cambridge@navitastesting.com and we will assist you.
